The mission of Hope Effect is to provide support, education, and resources for bio, foster and adoptive families. We look forward to the day when there are more families waiting for children than children waiting for families.
Our Why
Because children need families. Not everyone is called to foster or adopt; but everyone is called to do something. That is why we have created our support teams. These teams wrap around foster and adoptive families, helping them fight the spiritual, emotional, and physical battles that they face each day.
Prayer
We believe that prayer is powerful. We believe in a God that cares about us and the intimate details of our lives.
Our prayer team prays regularly for those who are and who are looking to foster/adopt as well as sends notes of encouragement to those families.
Transportation
We believe that nobody is alone in this, so our transportation team provides transportation for children in care to and from parent visits, doctors appointments, etc.
Meals
Our meals team provides meals for families with new foster/adoptive placements to help them focus on transitioning in the first few weeks.
Events
Our events team hosts parents' night out and other family-fun events throughout the year. These events provide foster/adoptive families to connect and enjoy a safe and fun environment.
Resources
The resource team provides tangible items that families need for new placements such as beds, outlet covers, and more.
